Chef-Taught Fast and Easy Appetizers Anyone Can Make

Class Description:  For ages 17 and up. The class focus is learning to make easy and fast appetizers that don't look or taste simple (but they are!)  These are all easy to  make ahead and need no chafing dishes or crockpots to serve. So whether you need something impressive to take to a gathering, or want some great appetizer ideas for a cocktail party or your own that can also stand on their own as luncheon if needed, or want easy apps so you can focus on a fancy main dish without spending your day cooking...Join us! You'll get to watch and learn as you taste.  You can sit back with the beverage or adult beverage of your choice that you bring (if you are 21+!) or buy some beer, wine, water or soft drinks from our shop prior.

  • What's the difference between artisanal and farmstead cheeses and mass-produced factory cheeses?

  • What are the different styles/types of cheeses & how do they differ?

  • What are the stories behind these chosen championship small farm cheeses and how are they special?

  • What can you pair with the different styles of cheeses to create an instant dinner or appetizer?

Whether you are a cheese novice or cheese pro, you'll have a fun evening and are certain to learn from our visiting cheese pro while you taste some of the finest award-winning artisanal cheeses available in the world.

Join us for a tasting tour and cheese education of 8 cheeses especially chosen for our July 2018 class (feel free to take the class again in the future as we will change up our featured cheeses!), plus special food pairings like chocolate and spreads, fresh bread, and a 3-wine pairing and one beer pairing. Additional wine or beer is welcome to be purchased at the time of the event if desired.

Although there will be classes we offer that are for families, this one is 21+, so bring a spouse, a date, a group of friends or just yourself and make new friends...and appreciate a world of wonderful flavors!
